An 8 year old girl was keenly listening to her parents talking about her younger brother. From their conversation she understood that his brother was not well and her parents did not have enough money to treat him. To meet the hospital expenses they moved from a comfortable home to a small home. She realised that her brother will be alive only if huge money is paid and operation is done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One day she heard her father saying to her mother ‘Our son can be saved only if a miracle happens’. Suddenly she went to the bedroom and took a glass jar that was kept hidden. She poured out all the coins that she had saved. She carefully counted all the coins and put them back inside jar and went to the nearby pharmacy and kept the jar on the table over there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The pharmacist asked her ‘What do u want?’ The girl replied ‘You have to do a miracle to save my sick brother’. The pharmacist was shocked and asked her to repeat what she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She explained saying ‘My brother Andrew has a tumour in his brain. My father told only a miracle can save him. Can you tell me how much a miracle costs?’<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The pharmacist gave a sad smile and said ‘little one, we sell only medicines here. We don’t sell miracles’. But the girl was asking him to make an arrangement for miracle. She also promised she will give rest of the money she has with her and also she assured that she will arrange for more if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A well dressed rich man came to the pharmacy that time and he asked the girl ‘what kind of miracle you want for your brother little girl?’ The girl wide opened her eyes and said \u2018my brother have a tumour in his brain, he must undergo an operation. But my father doesn\u2019t have enough money and I heard him saying only a miracle can save my brother\u2019s life\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018How much money do you have?\u2019 the rich man asked. \u2018one dollar and eleven cents\u2019 the girl replied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The man said \u2018one dollar and eleven cents are enough to save your brother\u2019s life, take me to your parents, I want to see them\u2019. That man was the brain-neurologist \u2018Carlton Armstrong\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He did the operation without getting a single dollar. Finally the boy was saved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The little girl did not understand anything. She was astonished thinking \u2018how this miracle has happened? What would be the cost of the miracle\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The cost of the miracle according to that girl was a dollar with 11 cents and faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
