This is a true incident based on the verse “My children, let us not love in word nor with the tongue, but in deed and truth.” 1 John 3:18.
There was two farmers in the city. Both were cultivated on their farmland in the hills. The first farmer was cultivated on his land which is slightly upper area. The land of the second farmer was located in a slightly lower area next to the land of the first farmer. The second farmer also cultivated his land. The first farmer was a good Christian. He would water his land daily. The second farmer made an opening in the boundary to allow water to flow to his land from the first farmer’s boundary. So the water that the first farmer poured into his land flowed into the land of the second farmer. Thus the first farmer was very upset. The first farmer did not engage in any argument with the second farmer because he was a good Christian.
The first farmer went straight to his pastor and asked for advice. “Continue to water your land as always without engaging in any argument with that farmer.\u201d That farmer also did as the pastor told him. Weeks rolled by. The second farmer was constantly making water flow to his fertile land from the first farmer’s boundary .
so the first farmer who was heart broken went straight to the pastor andtold \u201cPastor I followed the pattern you told. but no change occurred. ” The pastor looked at the farmer and said, “This time you water the garden next to yours.” According to the pastor, the first farmer irrigated the second farmer’s land. No change for the first three days On the morning of the third day the second farmer ran up to the first farmer and said, “How can I become a Christian?”
Let us consider the words of our Lord: “I say unto you, Slay your enemies, bless those that curse you, do good to those who hate you, and work for those who reproach you, and persecute you.” (Matt 5:44)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
