Wonderful Protection in the Spider’s Web

A true incident which tells about God’s protection and that He delivers us in the times of trouble.
A young soldier had to face a dangerous war. When they saw the defeat, this young soldier and his friends started running. The enemy’s army went after them continuously. This young soldier was also running fast out of fear without any hope. After some time, this young soldier got separated from his friends. Fear overtook him. As he was running, he saw a cave above a small rock. As the enemies were after him, he got tired of running and tried to enter that cave. In that darkness, he finally crawled his way into the cave. He started praying to God to protect him from his enemies. He decided that if he escaped he will work for God all his life.
As he was praying like this, he saw a spider spinning its web at the entrance of the cave. Within a short time, the whole entrance was covered with the spider’s web. He got depressed thinking how this thin spiders web could save his life. I was asking for God’s protection and deliverance, but why did God send this spider? Does he not know my situation? He was filled with agony. His heart was willed with worries.
After some time, the enemies surrounded the cave to see if anyone is hiding inside. A enemy soldier carrying gun in his hands saw the spider’s web as he tried to enter the cave. He informed his friends that as there is spider’s web at the cave’s entrance, there is no possibility for anyone to enter the cave. In this way, God heard the prayer of that young soldier and saved his life.
Days passed by, this soldier became a good servant of God. He preached to others from his own experience that, when we think we cannot do anything now and when the people leave us, God delivers us.
How much true is it dear ones! We read in Isaiah 59:19 that when the enemy shall come like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. So do not be depressed on seeing the circumstances against you.
