In the year 1984,the Olympic games were conducted at the city of Los Angeles where Hollywood is located. The Olympic committee wanted to do something in the beginning and in the end which will make the viewers stunning. The symbol of America and the symbol of Olympic games are similar that year. That symbol is an American Eagle. For this purpose, America selected an Eagle. They wanted to train that eagle in such a way that in the first day, it will circle the stadium once, then fly low and sit on 5 Olympic rings. But the number of eagles in America was very few. The Animal protection act is very strong in America.
They searched in many places and finally found an American eagle which was locked in a cage for many year. When they look at the eagle, it was in a miserable state. It doesn’t look like an American eagle, but like a turkey. Since it was in the cage for many years, it was so fat that it can’t fly.
The coach of the American eagle expressed his hope that he can train it to fly, since there are many more months for the Olympic games. He gave food to the eagle and given physical exercise. He played with the eagle and eat and sleep with it. Sometimes during the exercise the eagle fell down. However there was a good improvement in its physical condition.
Unfortunately, one day the eagle was dead. Doctors said it may be died of heart attack. The eagle died, because it was not able to with stand the flying practice given to it.
The eagle was unable to fly in the day when it’s required to fly, because it was put in a cage for many years. In the same, if we are not living our spiritual life with eternal experiences, when a day come to fly with our Lord in mid heavens, we will not be able to fly. So, let us who wait for the coming our bride, Lord Jesus Christ, keep us without spot and blameless!
