The Spirit is eager to sanctify and take the believers during the secret coming of Jesus Christ. The Spirit gives counsel to the seven churches, in the Book of Revelation. During the period of John, the message of revelation was given to these early Christian churches. Even now it is very relevant for our churches we attend today. It is good to listen to the counsel of the Spirit and obey His Word. It is very pathetic to ignore and disobey the Word of God.
One day a man of God was praying. He saw a vision. In his vision, he heard the news Jesus is coming soon Jesus is coming soon This news is sent to every believer’s house.
Some believers they heard the news of Jesus Coming but ignored it and wasted their time in chatting and laughing and gossiping.
Some believers they took it very seriously, study the word of God, meditate the Word of God, worshipped Him, praised Him, repent for their sins and had a regular prayer time with God. In Ephesians 4 22, 23, 24
that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
Getting ready to meet Jesus is like going on a journey. Yes! Truly it is a journey! The secret coming of Jesus Christ is a journey. Don’t you get ready to meet our Lord Jesus Christ? How well are you prepared to travel abroad? How much more should we be prepared to meet our Lord Jesus Christ!
Seek the Lord, listen to the Word of God, Obey the Word of God. Don’t be deaf. “Whoever has ears, let them hear” says The Spirit unto the churches.
Let’s get ready to meet our Lord Jesus Christ.
Judgment in the House of God
Will God judge His children?
Will God judge His house?
God does not judge His children to perish. Every human being has to face judgment. Scripture says that on that day God’s children will be judged so that they will not be judged by the world.
“Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.”I Corinthians 11:32
God will discipline and sanctify His children and prepare them for His coming. When we are disciplined by the Lord, do not despair. God is discipling us for our benefit.
“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11
God wants to discipline and prepare His children as the coming of the Lord is near. Do not get tired. Surrender your soul to the faithful Creator, Lord Jesus Christ.
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
We would not be Judged
I Cor 11:31″For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.”
We need to introspect ourselves, in the light of the Scripture. We need to self-examine ourselves, and correct our behavior.
Psalm 139:23,24 “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
We must allow God to search our hearts and we must repent our evil ways. We must confess our sins to Lord Jesus Christ. These things are very well known to us. These basic things need to be reminded again and again
“… the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.” I John 1:7
Therefore, introspect yourselves according to the word of the Lord. Repent for your wrong deeds at the feet of Jesus. You will be cleansed of your unrighteousness by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. “Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.” James 1:21
Take up the cross daily and follow Jesus in order to live a life pleasing to Christ. If you follow Christ, surely you will be with Christ. When Jesus comes, His true disciples join Him in mid heavens and be with Jesus for ever and ever. Let us be His truthful and faithful disciples and join Him on His second Coming.
