Second coming of Jesus and His power
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. (Mar 13:26)
Wherever we read about the second coming of Jesus, there His power is also mentioned. Yes, Jesus Christ is coming with power. In secret coming he comes with the power of resurrection. In his second coming he comes with the power of wrath. Apostle Paul mentioned that Jesus coming to execute righteous judgement. In the first coming He came as gentle and suffered. In the second coming He will come with power, as a ruler and judge. To raise His children and with power to transform, Jesus Christ will come with power as first born in resurrection.
Power of resurrection in the coming of Jesus Christ
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; (Phi 3:10)
Apostle Paul seeks the power of resurrection. As we are taking part in the sufferings of Christ, we must take part in the power of resurrection. During secret coming, Jesus will come with the power of resurrection. Read carefully wherever you read about the coming of Jesus, Lord’s power will be mentioned. Bible says, Lord will come with great power of Glory. We also partakers of His power of resurrection.
While Jesus comes on clouds to gather His saints, He will come with great power. To raise lakhs of people from death and to transform lakhs of God’s children who are alive, Jesus is coming with great power. Jesus is powerful. Hos power will work on us,How blessed! Let us glorify God for His resurrection power.
Seek the Lord and His power
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. (Eph 6:10)
While we live on earth, we must be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. First we must keep unshaking faith in the Lord. Then we must believe God that he is able to keep us. We have to believe in His power. Not only for our physical health but also to complete our faith life successfully we need the power of God. A life without the power of God is a life of failure. Why John says whoever believes, Jesus is son of God shall overcome world?.If Jesus is son of God, God is powerful and worthy to receive Glory. Everything will come under His feet. Victory comes only when we believe all knees shall bow down before Jesus. Son of God means he possesses all power and authority. While we believe in Him, the power of God started working in our life. The power of God works in required ways and saves us. So let us seek the Lord and His power. Apostle Paul says, the power of God works in us.
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, (Eph 1:18,19)
While Jesus was resurrected, God sent His power. Grave opened and guards were afraid. Jesus was resurrected. Angels came and displayed the power of God through works. Women who came to grave see the resurrected Jesus. Yes, power of God worked! Jesus resurrected. The same power works among us who believe Jesus. Apostle pauls prayed for the eyes of understanding to be enlightened to see this. Yes, Power of God works among you, who believes. Believe and have faith is Jesus.
