The Mystery of Godliness

“And without controversy, great is the mystery of goodliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on i the world, received up into glory.” 1 Timothy 3:16 The mystery of godliness is to believe in the Godhead of Jesus Christ, and that He came to this world in the form of a man, and suffered for us and rose again and is seated at the right hand of the Father. This is Godliness. Bible says, Godliness is to believe that Jesus Christ is God who came in flesh, and believing that Jesus Christ suffered for us and that He died for us and confessing that He rose again and is seated in the right hand of the Father. This is the foundation of our faith and we should hold to this firmly.
But in the last days, people will rise up to deny the Godhead of Jesus Christ and to dent that He came in flesh. This is the spirit of antichrist which we heard that it will come.
“Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God. And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and that is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” 1 John 4:2, 3
So let us be strong in confessing our faith. Be careful about the spirits which does not confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. But, do not be afraid. Jesus Christ is Almighty. And He lives in you. Do not see the world. But, think that Jesus Christ who is in you is great. We have won over them. Our faith, upon Jesus Christ, His Godhead, and that Jesus Christ came as human and suffered for us and died and rose again, will surely overcome this world. So do not worry! You will overcome by your faith!
