“and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:24.
Adam was created in the image of God. He lost this image when he sinned. Now when we accept Christ Jesus as our savior we are once again formed as a new creation. We should make it a point to grow everyday in his image, because our “Self “ was nailed with Christ in cross. But when we try to pick up our old habits, our past sinful life embraces us and we are startled. Beloved, do not dwell in the past. This makes the teaching of the cross a necessity in our life. Paul said, “Therefore we do not lose heart; but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.” Embrace Christ Jesus and the Holy ghost will help us build our image in God.
The transfiguration of the inner man
Our inner man is transformed in the image of Christ jesus.
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18, NIV.
The image of Jesus is mirrored in the holy bible. We can see how loving, caring, patient, pure and humble he is. Through him we understand how absolutely abundant he is. When we wear the image of god, our inner man is transformed. The holy spirit helps us, but are we ready to transform?
Inorder to strengthen our inne self and and to be transformed, we should submit ourselves.we should nail our inner self in the cross, and slowly put an end to him. We should remember that Christ jesus died for us, and the holy spirit helps us to overcome the sin within us. So we must give ourself in, and be transformed like jesus.
The heart to be transformed
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2
Our heart should understand that in order to drop our old self and follow in the light, the heart should know gods will and act accordingly. How does our heart understand God’s will? Reading the holy bible, praying, and following his instructions from the bible. The holy spirit also lets us know about gods will.We should learn to control our heart and submit to the lord. Our heart should be transformed with the help of the holy bible and the holy spirit.
“Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.” 1 Peter 1:13, NIV
Yes, wear the belt to your heart and be clear. The lord our god is coming soon, be prepared in your heart to meet him soon.
The trumpet blows and we are transformed
Our inner man should be transformed and be prepared and our flesh be sacrificed and be consecrated. When we are all set then we shall not be ashamed for the second coming of Christ jesus.
The trumpets will blow, and the dead will rise, and we too shall be transformed and taken up by him. How amazing is this? All our waiting and sacrificing will come to an end, and we shall attain eternal peace on that day. So prepare Ye all, for Christ our savior is coming soon. Behold the trumpets blow, and we shall be transformed and be taken to be with him. Alleluia.!
