“These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful”. (Revelation 17:14).
At the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ a group of Saints will come along with Him. Bible tells about them. They are Called, chosen, and faithful. Yes! They who are with Jesus Christ are faithful. Jesus Christ was faithful to His Father. Jesus Christ was faithful in safe guarding His children, and fulfilling His promises. He is faithful to all who fear Him and keep His covenant. He is faithful to bless us and heal us. He is faithful to His Father and obeys Him. Likewise we also should be faithful like Him.
Faithful witness.
Bible tells that Jesus Christ is the faithful witness. He was faithful and gave witness about God the Father and about the things pertaining to Heaven.
“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood”. (Revelation 1:5).
Jesus Christ is faithful in the house of God. Just as Moses was faithful in the house of God, Jesus is faithful to God who is in Heaven. Not only that, but he is also a faithful priest who intercedes for us. He is faithful to God, and in taking our requests before God and giving us deliverance.
Just as Moses was faithful in the house of God, as Jesus Christ is faithful to God who appointed Him in heaven we receive God’s blessings through Jesus Christ. Not only that, we also should remain faithful. We should be faithful to God. Then we will be soldiers who follow Jesus Christ at His second coming. Amen!
Saints who obtained good report.
“For by it the elders obtained a good report”. (Hebrews 11:2).
Bible says in the letter to the Hebrews about the good report which the saints obtained because of their faith. They all obtained good report just as Jesus Christ obtained good report from His Father.
Abel was testified by God as righteous because of the offering he offered. Enoch obtained good report even before he was taken, that he pleased God. Noah became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. More can be said about Abraham. He obtained testimony from God when he went to sacrifice Isaac. Moses obtained good testimony that He is faithful in my house. David obtained testimony that he is the man after God’s own heart. We can say more like this.
The New Testament saints also obtained good testimony from God and became heirs of God’s promises. You also should become a vessel who obtains good testimony from God. Everyone who obtained good testimony was just like you and me who had sufferings. They obtained good testimony from God by their strong faith upon God. Let us also obtain that good testimony by keeping our faith strong upon God and upon Jesus Christ. We should be people who obtain good testimony from God. We should live pleasing God. Then we shall be soldiers who follow Jesus Christ at His coming.
