“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven”. (Matthew 6:10).
God’s will is done in heaven. The reason behind is, God reigns over the heaven. Not only that, the Angels and the Saints in heaven should do the will of God, and obey him. If God’s will is to be done on earth, then the people of the earth should do the will of God and obey him. Just as the Father reigns over the heaven, the son of God Jesus Christ should rule over the earth. Many people should accept Jesus Christ and obey him in order to do the will of God. And those who have accepted Jesus Christ should do the will of God.
Then what will be the condition of those who do not obey God? Bible says about this like this,
“In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.” (2 Thessalonians 1:8, 9)
Jesus is coming to judge with righteous damnation upon those who do not know God, and those who do not obey God, that is upon those who do not accept the Gospel. On that last day, there is no way for excuse. The incident of the people who are taken during the secret coming of Jesus Christ will be a sign to all the people of the earth, and then the judgement that follows will be sign. Then the warnings which were given not to take the seal during the reign of antichrist will be a sign. All the people will be put to damnation those who reject the Love of Jesus Christ, ignoring the righteous rule of Jesus Christ, and choosing the corruption, and unrighteousness and take upon the seal of antichrist. Jesus Christ wants to establish justice and righteousness on this earth. Jesus Christ is coming to rule over this earth and to accomplish the will of God on this earth.
God’s will in the first coming
“Then he said, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God”. (Hebrews 10:9).
It was God’s will that Jesus Christ should be sacrificed to take away our sins. For that purpose, Jesus Christ came to this earth as a man. God manifested in flesh. How can we say the love of God! The blood of Jesus Christ was shed for us. Jesus Christ gave his life so that our sins might be forgiven. And we receive life through the blood and his body.
The gospel of Jesus Christ is preached throughout the world. Repentance and forgiveness is preached all over the world. The love of Christ, His salvation, His divine healing, in this way the Word of God is preached everywhere. We came to know His love and we accepted Jesus Christ. And many more people accepted Jesus Christ and became the children of God. This good news of Jesus Christ is preached all over the world.
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come”. (Matthew 24:14).
The salvation of Jesus Christ and His grace is preached in all around the world. So as of now, the second coming of Jesus Christ might be at any time. As we have tasted the Love of Jesus Christ, should get ready for His coming.
“Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the saving knowledge of the truth”. (1 Timothy 2:4).
It is God’s will that all men should be saved. It is God’s will that all men should come to the saving knowledge of the truth. With that purpose only, the gospel is preached to all creatures. The Holy Spirit is also doing mighty things. But still everyone has not accepted this Love of Jesus Christ. Those who accepted became the children of God and glorified God. Yes, blessed are they who accepted the love of God, accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. For this purpose only Jesus Christ came to this earth. How can we proclaim His love! Let us accept His love and obey him. Jesus Christ who accomplished God’s will in His first coming is going to come again to accomplish God’s will in His second coming. As we have tasted the Love of Jesus Christ, should get ready for His coming.
