“She did what she could”

Few months back a wealthy Entrepreneur spoke to our church construction team and was willing to offer some heavy sum of money for the small church construction project. Our administration team was also happy to receive his money, He asked them to get few cement and steel material used for construction receipt alone to be produced and was willing to repay the amount used for the purchased products.
Our administrative team are faithful people and they are not aware of the tax deductions and the other loop holes of the Government laws behind this issues. They are committed Christians who have done business with open and clean hands.
Since I am involved in a secular job which involves auditing / company laws / income tax returns – has lot of pain and lawsuit issues, which I’m aware of and not the administrative team of the Missionary Organization.
We had decided that even if we are not able to finish our target on construction of churches better to abide by the principles and laws of god and work with peace with all men.
Give to god what belongs to him and pay tax according to the government laws. We should not mix both. We cannot cheat the government tax scheme and include it in the kingdom of god scheme. I have witnessed the construction of great monunmental church with help of few poor faithful workers sacrifice. And in small church how many powerful men of god were brought forth and was a blessing to the Kingdom of God.
So Let us do what we can with a faithful undivided heart. As the scriptures says “A faithful man is abundantly blessed” The Lord will build his kingdom through us!
