Dear ones in Christ,
“It pleases God to bless Israel”. God wants His people to live a blessed life. It is not God’s plan that only we get blessed, but many people should be blessed through us. God blessed Abraham and exalted him that in him all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Our God supplies all our needs. In the marriage of Cana, God supplied the needs. In this year also God wants to satisfy you and make you full and content. According to Phil-4:19, “My God shall supply all your need according to the riches in glory by Christ Jesus”, not only in the life to come, but in this earthly life also, our Lord will bless you and will do miracles in each of our lives in such a way that will make us stay amazed. What should we do to make our needs supplied?
Firstly: We need to have personal relationship with God.
An intimate personal relationship, in which we say, “My God”. We need a submission in our personal life. We should experience His love, the love of Calvary and should submit ourselves fully to God. Jesus Christ tasted death for each and every one of us. Only when our intimate personal relationship with God is right, can we say, “My God”. In Psalms – 27:1,
Psalmist David says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid”? Moreover in Psalms – 28:1, he says, “Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock”. In Daniel – 3:17, it is well noticeable about the intimate relationship of the three Hebrew men, when they said, “Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us”. Joshua also told, “As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord”. God blesses and supply the needs and satisfies only those who have an intimate personal relationship with Him.
Secondly: God supplies according to His riches.
In Genesis – 14:22, 23, we read, “And Abraham said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the Lord, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, that I will not take…… lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abraham rich”. The riches of God is far more above than the kings of this world. The riches of God will not bring sorrow. In Hebrews – 4:16 we read, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in the time of need”. Our God is a High Priest who intercedes for us. Open your hearts to him and tell everything to him. He will help you in your weakness and will supply all your needs.
Thirdly: Feeding Elijah without any lack, who did the will of God.
In 1 Kings – 17:6 we read, “And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook”.Even if famine occurs in the world, there won’t be any lack to the people who depend upon God and live. God fed Elijah through a raven in a new way. In China, God fed a true Christian who was hungry in the prison through a rat. God fed this man through the rat daily and it brought sweet potato to his prison cell itself. God is able to supply the eeds of His saints either through a man or an animal. He is the same yesterday, today and for evermore. Depend on God, not man. Human help is vain.
Fourthly: God supplies the needs of those who keep God as his inheritance.
In Numbers – 12:5-8 we read, “And the Lord came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam”. As Miriam spoke against Moses, God called them and warned them saying, “Wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses”? God sees the sorrows and pain of His servants and wipe away their tears and pain.
Fifthly: God supplies the needs of those who believe in Him.
In Numbers – 11:20-31 God said, “You will eat until it becomes a loath some unto you”. In verse 31 we read, “And there went forth a wind from the Lord, and brought quails from the sea”. In this way God fed the Israelites with the quails.
Sixthly: We should pray to God when we lack wisdom.
In James – 1:5, we read, “if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally”. Again in Psalms – 95:7 as we read, if we live as the people of His pasture, we will not have any lack.
Seventhly: Our God is our wisdom, righteousness, holiness and our salvation.
In 1 Corinthians – 1:30 we read, “But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption”. In Christ Jesus are the riches, righteousness, sanctifi cation and redemption. If we accept him and become His children, we will receive the heavenly blessings in fullness. As we know him more and more, all our needs will be gone and we will receive the fullness.
