“I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall
he find faith on the earth?” (Luke – 18:8). Jesus Christ himself raised a question, whether he will see faith on the earth when he comes. From this we understand one thing that, we should keep our faith until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are saved by Grace, through faith upon Jesus Christ. When we keep that faith, we will be taken at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faith is the fuel to our Spiritual life, fire or petrol. If it is not there, our spiritual life will not go forward. Likewise, if we keep hold on to our faith upon Jesus Christ and stand firm till the end, we will be redeemed and saved. It is not great, that we believe when everything goes well, but when we keep our faith in the midst of troubles, temptations and painful situations. Not only that, many holy saints of God did great things by faith. Won over the nations, bound the mouth of the lions, became strong when they were weak, and did many things like this. Let us also keep our faith and be victorious. Let us receive the promises of God and do great things until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. May our Lord revive your faith which has gone low, and enable you to live for Him till his coming and perfect you to do great things for Him! Enoch, translated by faith. “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God has translated him: before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God”. (Hebrews – 11:5). Enoch walked closely with God. That is, he hated the things of the world and he chose the fellowship with God. May be the people around him might have risible at him. The world might have hated him as he chose to be in fellowship with God always. So only being filled with the Holy Spirit, Enoch prophesied like this. “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgement upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against
him”. (Jude – 14, 15) Enoch prophesied about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Not only that, he also told very clearly that Jesus Christ is coming to judge the world. Enoch is the first prophet to prophecy that Jesus Christ is going to come to judge. When a person lives and walks closely with God, God reveals his secrets to him. Likewise only, Enoch received the prophecy about the second coming of Jesus Christ. Knowing clearly that the world is going towards destruction, Enoch chose to live closely with God. By this he got the testimony that Enoch pleased God. Yes, my dear ones, we are also called to receive the testimony that we please God by faith. If it is true that we please God, then it also very sure that we will be translated at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ! The righteous will live by faith. “For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him”. (Hebrews – 10:37,38). “For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him”. (Hebrews – 10:37,38). Enoch received the testimony that he pleased God. He was translated by God. What should we do to live like that? Without drawing back, we should keep our faith and receive the testimony that we please God. So let us hold on to the faith which we had at the beginning till the end. Jesus Christ is coming soon. Crown of righteousness will be given to all those who believe. God will say, my son! My daughter! You have finished your race; you have kept your faith. We are living in such a period that people leave their faith. So let us keep our faith in these days. Let us run, so that we can receive the crown of righteousness. God knows that you have hold on to your faith firmly even in the midst of trials, troubles and tribulations. He knows your tears and sorrows. He knows that you are keeping your faith for Him. Jesus Christ will give the crown of righteousness to everyone who has kept their faith when He comes.
