Dear ones in Christ,
Do you realize that today’s world has started loving the darkness? Satan is trying to keep us in the darkness. He is provoking the man to live in bad habits, and lies. As we have lost the truth and our good habits, there is no peace in our hearts, no light in our life and have lost the brightness of our face. Jesus Christ came to this world as light. Jesus Christ came to this world and took birth as a man to give light to the people who are living in the valley of darkness like, darkness of sin, darkness of curse and the darkness of diseases. God turns everyone who seeks him into a shining living stone. He transforms the people who are in darkness into the people who gives light to the world. Jesus never wants even a single man to lose the eternal life and get damned. Just for this cause, Jesus left the heaven and came to this world in search of mankind. And he gave his life for him. And he rose again. And he has called us to testify to the people that still today he alive and is mindful of us and is advocating for us. We are chosen to proclaim His amazing love and praises. So only, God has given this great supreme Gospel in our hands. And this is our responsibility to proclaim this as a witness. Let us see, why we should proclaim the Gospel?
1.This is our responsibility:
In Romans 1:16, we read, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation…” Moreover Apostle Paul tells the Church of Corinthians, “Woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel. If I do willingly, I have a reward”. How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good tidings and publish the peace.
2.The commandment of Jesus Christ:
In Mark 16:15, we read, “And Jesus said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”. Jesus Christ gave this command to his disciples. Gospel is necessary to every creature. We have to go into all over world. Not just a particular country, place or a district.
3.We have to preach the gospel fully in all places:
In Romans 15:19,20, Apostle Paul says, “… so that from Jerusalem, and round about into Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ is not named…” Even when there were no such amenities or facilities like today in those days, Apostle Paul worked hard.
4. We should proclaim the gospel with boldness:
In Ephesians 6:19, 20, Apostle says, “And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak”.
5. The everlasting Gospel for every period of time:
In Revelation 14:6,7, we read, “… the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God and give glory to him…”
6. Should be preached as a witness:
In Matthew 24:14, we read, “And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come”. The Gospel has to be preached to all the people all over the world, so that the coming of Jesus Christ might come soon. The Kingdom of God is going to be established soon. When the gospel is preached, God chooses men for His kingdom.
7. This is the gospel of God:
In Romans 1; 1, Apostle Paul says, “Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God”. The Gospel is not from the world, it came from God from heaven. According to, 1 Corinthians 9: 16, this is the gospel of God, and the necessity is laid upon us to preach this gospel. We have to preach the gospel in season and out of season.
My dear friends! God wants this gospel to be spread all over the world and give God’s strength and deliverance to the people. Salvation and deliverance will not come by human thoughts. It the eternal plan of God that no man should go to hell. The wise men would understand this by their wisdom. Let us proclaim this gospel to the world by His grace. The name of Jesus Christ is above all names. The greatness of the gospel is to proclaim that His name is given for us to be saved.
